Truth is not like Burger King. You can't "have it your way." To deny that reality, is to seal our own fate as a nation on the rocketsled to hell.

Many people refer to themselves as conservatives, as well as Christians, and they believe that they can mold and shape the definition of these terms to be whatever they want. Unfortunately, what they have done is justified a lie in their own minds which never ends well.

A True political Conservative is one who adheres to a set of principles that are rooted in the Constitution. The root word is "conserve" which means to save, or preserve for as long as possible. Anyone that uses common sense knows that this type of practice is normally a good thing.

With a cursory review of the Founding Documents, or the individual writings of the Founders, one will quickly realize the impact that scripture had on those who founded this nation.

A True Christian is one who has accepted Jesus into their heart as Lord and Savior. The result of this action will be an adherence to the teachings of the Bible. Notice, I said a "True" Christian.
This is with the understanding that no one is perfect. I thank God for Grace, but Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, you will obey my commands." We demonstrate our love to God in our obedience to His teaching.

To those of you who spend your time attempting to circumvent the truth, your problem is not with me, it's with God. I didn't write the words, I'm only a messenger.

TX SREC OFFICIALS COMMITTEE ENDORSES HOMOSEXUALITY

The TX SREC Officials Committee members recently decided to allow the Metroplex Republican Club (Dallas) to have a booth at the Convention and this decision needs to be reversed.

The Problem: Any entity or person that allows, endorses, advocates, or supports the idea that homosexuality is normal, that homosexual individuals should be allowed to be in positions of authority, or that aspects of the homosexual agenda should be accepted in any form, IS BY DEFAULT an advocate for the Homosexual Agenda (i.e. the SREC Officials Committee.)

The Metroplex Republican Club is a promoter of the Homosexual Agenda, which is incompatible with the TX Rep party platform, as well as decency or morality.

Re: Metroplex Republican "Home" Page -
"Our membership is diverse. It includes allies in the gay, straight community and multi-cultural people. Whether your interest lies in grassroots politics or the social side of belonging to a group, you will find a home with us."

Re: On their "About Us" page -
"We believe in Freedom, Liberty, Smaller Government, Lower Taxes. We also believe in the 'Big Tent' and our club represents a diversity of viewpoints, ethnicities, gay and straight. If you believe you are a Republican, you are welcome here!"

The reality is that we welcome those with whom we are willing to advocate for.
Homosexuality is addressed in the TX Republican Party Platform on page 14

" Homosexuality- Homosexuality is a chosen behavior that is contrary to the fundamental unchanging truths that have been ordained by God in the Bible, recognized by our nation’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans. Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include homosexual couples. We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin.

Additionally, we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values."

Questions:
1. Does the so-called "Big Tent" of the Republican Party Of Texas welcome those who believe in tax increases, activist judges, or the expansion of the welfare state ?

2. Does the so-called "Big Tent" of the Republican Party Of Texas believe that individuals who believe that tax increases, activist judges, or the expansion of the welfare state be allowed to ADVANCE TO HIGHER OFFICE within the party ?

To accept the homosexual agenda in any fashion is no different.

Please contact these SREC members immediately and let them know of your disagreement with this decision, and that the decision needs to be reversed.
